Jordan A. Shaw is a partner at Zebersky Payne Shaw Lewenz. He serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and is Chair of the firm’s Consumer Litigation Practice Group and Co-Chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group.
Jordan represents clients in complex commercial litigation, consumer litigation, securities and stockholder litigation, and class action litigation. He also regularly serves as trustee and outside general counsel for his clients, advising them on general business matters, contracts, employment issues, and consumer compliance.
An experienced trial lawyer, Jordan has litigated hundreds of matters in state and federal courts across Florida and the United States. He has been lead trial counsel in trials involving partnership disputes, securities fraud, corporate dissolutions, derivative actions, contract enforcement, and bank fraud. Jordan has also handled domestic and international arbitration matters for clients in the United States and abroad.
As chair of the Consumer Litigation Practice Group, Jordan represents clients in matters involving state and federal consumer protection regulations, illegal fees, balance billing, consumer debt collection, and lending fraud disputes. Because of his extensive experience in class action litigation, Jordan is consistently certified as “class counsel” by state and federal courts.
Jordan is rated “A.V. Preeminent” by Martindale Hubbell and has been a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2016 through 2022. He and his cases have been featured in Bloomberg, the Daily Business Review, Law 360, Local 10 News, Channel 7 News, CBS Miami, NBC 4 New York, The Miami Herald, The Transportation Lawyer, Courtroom View Network, and The Real Deal.
Prior to its merger with Zebersky Payne Shaw Lewenz, Jordan was the Managing Partner of boutique litigation firm, Shaw Lewenz, LLC. Before that, he interned for Judge James Lawrence King and Judge Alicia M. Otazo Reyes in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
